Manu Shares Advice for Learning and Speaking Italian!

If hope you’ve been following my in-depth interview with Manu Venditti of Italy Made Easy. Manu generously gave of his invaluable time to answer what I consider to be very important questions regarding learning Italian. In this post Manu eloquently provides advice for students want to learn Italian.

Manu addresses so many of the components necessary to “sticking with it” and mastering the language.

Manu – the master of Italy Made Easy

I sure wish I had come across Italy Made Easy years ago. I think I would be much further along. He addresses expectations and possible hurdles. Believe me, you won’t want to skip over this. I’m all about expectations and thoughtful planning!

Don’t launch your efforts of speaking Italian only to lose steam when you move beyond the basics!

Italy Made Easy, and Manu’s teaching style joyfully will carry you along. I’ve never experienced an Italian teacher who is so kind, funny, gentle and humble. I feel like he’s pulling for me. That’s the kind of teacher who gets the best results.

I worked as a creative leader in marketing for more years than I care to advertize. For me, the magic happens when something or someone is steeped in authenticity. I vouch for the authenticity of Manu and Italy Made Easy.

It’s easy to sample Manu’s teaching style.

I encourage you to check out some of Manu’s free videos, and then to consider getting even more serious with a structured curriculum (he’s launching a program called Zero to Italian soon!). The following video can help you avoid some possible embarrassment when you are in Italy (just ask my sister about the first example!).

I immediately enrolled in FROM 0 TO ITALIAN so, I look forward to learning with both of you (Neil and Jed)…from Manu’s e-mail it seems like the students will have some interaction with each other. A risentirci presto!

Great recommendation Jed. I started with Manu’s 5 week course for travelers, Speak Italian from Day One, before my first visit to Italy. It is fun and works well to learn the basics. I felt comfortable and confident trying to speak basic Italian while on that vacation; in restaurants, buying tickets for various things, asking directions, etc. He has tons of free content on YouTube as well. Great stuff.

Since moving to Italy I live a rather English-speaking lifestyle. I am always around English speakers who are Italians, Africans, and English (UK). So I have not had the opportunity to immerse myself in the language yet. I am so excited to start Manu’s new course, zero to Italian, on 20 February. I think he is the closest thing to class-room learning, and with many befits over taking a class. Manu is an excellent teacher with the right focus in his courses, and has lots of extras and fun ways to progress with the language. I recommend his course as well.

Grazie Neil! I, too, am looking forward to Manu launching Zero to Italian in just a couple of weeks! I believe he will help catapult me to the next level!

Manu is my hero! I am the granddaughter of Italian immigrants and now one of the few surviving family members. I left my heart in Italy last spring on my first visit but I came back to the States determined to learn to speak Italian. After trying classes from my public library, prurchasing cd’s and phrase books plus the infamous Duolingo, I found Manu! After his 6 week beginner course and all of his YouTube lessons, I’m making real progress and I am not discouraged about reaching my language goal. Manu is amazing in his teaching talents, fine qualities, knowledge and passion for the power of language! I’m his biggest fan!
